“What good is flint in pieces to you? If you do not know that it can be useful in many ways, you will never know, your analytical gaze will be lost thinking that what you had is no longer useful “

The Messenger

Now we go back to that place where they coexist and have fun meeting Painani and Hora, at that time They needed her flint knife to be sharp, the right-handed couple of Painani prepared to hit it with another stone to achieve a suitable edge, but to do so he blindfolded himself and Painani was very surprised by this attitude and asked:

-I don’t understand how is possible that it could be well sharpened if you do not see what you are doing

Hora removed the bandage from his eyes and affirmed:

-If a splinter penetrates my eyes then I will never be able to see what I am doing, neither your beautiful face and much less the wonderful landscape that surrounds us, I also need the shards to show you something unique.

Painani smiled and realized that Hora was indeed a very wise man and she waited patiently. When he had finished sharpening the flint knife, Hora prepared to place the fragments of the precious dark glass on a large leave and said:

-Come, my darling, accompany me to the river and you will see that what I am telling you is impressive.

They both walked to the river and Hora took a fist from the splinters and dropped them into the water, some were carried by the current and others of a larger size sank and got stuck between the stones, at that moment Hora warned:

-When you have a tool powerful, each of its pieces will be the same, in the water they are a danger to the living beings that inhabit the site, but if I place a net downstream I will have fish that will have died by the flint and not by my hand.

It is the deity with the headdress of fire that is the only one that can penetrate the skin of the river with its reflection, she makes the flint sparkle.

Having said this, he took Painani by the hand and led her to where the litter had dried in another part of the forest and placed splinters of the flint, I waited next to his beloved and said:

-The highest, perfect and intense point of the Lord the one you venerate and that I contemplate as the deity of the fiery headdress will do its work. (1)

Indeed, when the sun shone at its highest point with great intensity, the dry leaves began to burn and Hora surrounded them with several stones to contain his strength.

Then he went downstream where he had set a trap while they waited for the work of the deity of the fire headdress and he raised his net with various fish, which he brought to the bonfire and prepared to cook them.

Surprised Painani exclaimed:

-We have honoured the virtues of the flint utilizing which Huitzilopochtli saw the light when tearing the belly of the moon and your deity has summoned the forces of water and earth to feed us.

Hora smiled and happily warned:

When you see the magic in the elements that you thought had lost it, your path and mine will be great, you will learn that in the transformation the essence remains, I need you to know it perfectly, that way you will have to perceive me, and you will do it with the elements you work with.

Without a doubt, Hora said this recognizing that the day would come that his transformation would make her lose her way, we do not know if she understood it, but at least it remained in her mind as something to remember when necessary.

With those who have shared your days, you will recognize enduring teachings that can transform your life when everything becomes difficult and you feel that your course is not the same.
