For Morati Agu, staying in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, was an encounter with a fascinating culture, every detail made him feel in a land with an effervescent, explosive and diverse tradition, he was captivated but He would keep his vital days and hours at the space research centre, so he didn’t get too distracted in sightseeing and headed to the site where he was already expected.
Upon arrival he was received by Annia Garasimov, a diligent lady with a sweet look, honey-coloured eyes, clad in a recycled material overall with the Asgardian shield on the left side:
-Dear Mr Agu, we appreciate that you have accepted the offer, they await you’re in verification, Please join me…
Morati Agu noticed that there was a very special living room, the furniture seemed industrial and it read on the threshold:
“The materials in this hall have been made with space waste rescued by Asgardian workers under the certification of zero. radiation «
If you want to read this message in another language say it out loud and touch the touch screen, if not the screen is sensitive and will turn off when you leave, welcome
Annia noticed the surprised look of the writer and later she turned to him:
-Please Mr Agu, take a seat shortly you will be called at the second door on the right, I am retiring and I wish you a comfortable stay in our facilities.
Morati thanked the gesture and took a seat in those armchairs and said to himself:
<I have sat on the fragments of a device that has been roaming the orbit for I don’t know how long. This is fascinating!>
A man appeared at the door that they had pointed him out and he invited him with cordiality and a frank smile to pass, once inside he offered him a cup of coffee, pondering that a good harvest from Kenya was arriving at the facilities for the service of the scientists who thanked 30 millilitres at the breakfast of the coveted drink.
Unfortunately in the XXIII century, it was no longer so easy to drink several cups of coffee a day, resources and water were dosed in some areas for ecological reasons, especially trade encouraged that certain products were not scarce and were consumed in adequate quantities.
The man who received him identified himself as Nicolai and warned him that the reason for the verification was to know some of his customs and from them to be able to evaluate his potential at work, so he began with a verbal questionnaire:
-Firstly I would like to know if you consume fried foods, sugar or alcohol and if you tend to smoke.
Morati, without asking the reasons for such a peculiar interrogation, shook his head and pointed out:
«These are things that I can do without and I am not a smoker.»
Nicolai wrote down in his digital notebook and continued:
-The comment Mr Agu is because some scientists or special guests become irritable without these types of products, consequently, their low concentration and their health decrease in an obvious way, I am glad to know your answer.
You will be given three overalls, the days of Saturn are washed in the common space that is in the basement, if you usually wear underwear you can wash them in your rooms, the bathroom is conditioned so that you can dry them.
Do you have any questions or special requirements?
Morati remained thoughtful for a few seconds and asked:
-Can you explain the restrictions for the use of the internet?
-Of course, free internet for working hours, if you work in your rooms the network turns off at one o’clock in the morning and turns on at 6, it has its decreases monitor in the rooms where the daily agenda will be sent to you, the interviews and the activities and their sequences.
Also the notifications in the dining room service change in case this happens since everyone eats at pre-established fixed hours only when there is an overload of work are modified.
Morati with a wide smile thanked Nicolai for his help, they both went to the floor where their rooms were, when they said goodbye Nicolai said:
-Dear Morati, the adventure is about to begin and you are part of it, welcome.
