Ly Kobayashi

The Value of the Concept

2nd Chapter

By Ariadne Gallardo Figueroa

One of the strongest personalities in the field of dynamic connections was undoubtedly Ly Kobayashi, a woman who came from a family of scientists, her father a neurosurgeon who prepared her from childhood to that she saw the importance of connecting her brain to her actions with discipline and her mother a psychic psychologist who had participated in person-to-person data-sending work with very limited success, but with great experience in a field that had not been studied before how she faced it and this is the reason for the success of the marriage between the two since they put their disciplines and methodologies to search for something that could surprise us ourselves.

Ly had paid for her studies thanks to the egg purchase program of several of the expeditions that had been made to the regions of the future as they were named and possibly she would never know her children who would be living on Mars if they existed, however, based on to her parents’ studies she secretly harboured hope.

Her work with connection networks was based on one of the thesis works of her father’s students, entitled «Ripple between particles and the photoelectric effect»

She was passionate about the idea, it dates back too far away from the one we are dealing with now. and it is based on the studies of Louis de Broglie who argued that if the mass of a photon is zero, its impulse will be associated with the wavelength of the light, therefore the light has to bounce if it ever finds a place to do so. In this sense, considering that light behaves like a particle, the electrons would in turn do so as waves, which would determine its impulse power.

The heart of the matter was centred on this, according to Kobayashi’s mother, she ensured that if there were enough strength, synchrony and constant emission of ideas from a brain placed on a topic or a goal, this would redound to attracting people those who were in the same field of action, attracting, shaping and designing cognitive levels in that neuronal superstructure.

In Ly’s specific case, the neural network and photoelectric pulses would lead her to create intricate and difficult-to-recognize designs of virtual connections by mutating between them, preventing the message from one sender to another from being recognized by the final recipient, where only the primary designer could access the controls on this network. That is why she was on the team to develop the pulse design and at the same time prevent antagonistic groups from the idea from hacking into the system; These groups were the industrial cyberspies and those who did not agree with the extension of borders and knew that only a collapse would make others desist from pursuing that bet.

One of the central ideas of the group of four leaders was in the hands of Ly Kobayashi who had a phrase that was well known among them:

«If you want to hide the most precious thing you have, put it in the most visible and inaccessible place for everyone»
