What are you willing to lose?

The Value of the Concept

2nd Chapter

By Ariadne Gallardo Figueroa

There is a horizon of possibilities, it depends on your own interests.

The concept of loss is very interesting, both on the hackers ‘side and on the investigators’ side, for the former, a connection is established with power and everything that has worked for them to pay for privileges for a long time; For their part, researchers all loss of information is equivalent to analysis time in a process that they have designed by creating structure and preserving a plan to achieve specific objectives.

We do not always talk about money in the case of the latter, their world is established before a horizon of long-term events; definitely in the case of the first group, their actions visualize immediacy, remove the one who hinders their plans where the profits are shared by leadership and power.

Taking this process into account, it is clear that for researchers, rebuilding the structure is part of the DNA of their own principles and the roadmap fits in each step carried out, it is not the same for a predator that seeks to corrupt the information to subdue your opponent regardless of the content and details of it.

From this perspective, it is easy to make sense of the criteria that each group would have, the former would have no advantage and the researchers will expose the events publicly.
